Description
This program provides funding for research on the theory and applications of probability. Supported subfields include discrete probability, stochastic processes, limit theory, interacting particle systems, stochastic differential and partial differential equations, and Markov processes. The program particularly encourages proposals that involve applications of probability to other areas of science and engineering. Funding is also available for conferences, workshops, and similar activities relevant to probability research.
