In this 2024 announcement, APHIS WS will make around $5,500,000 in cooperative agreement funding to control and prevent chronic wasting disease (CWD) in wild cervids, including the development and/or implementation of CWD surveillance, testing, management, and response activities. The amount available will be based on the FY24 Congressional appropriations language and directions.:
