Description
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Education Programs invites applications for the Humanities Initiatives grant programs. These initiatives aim to strengthen the teaching and study of the humanities at institutions of higher education by supporting the development of new or the improvement of existing humanities programs, educational resources, or coursework.
The grant supports a broad range of projects that enhance humanities education, including curriculum development, creation of educational materials, and integrative projects that may connect humanities with STEM, pre-professional, or professional programs such as law and health sciences. The programs also encourage collaborative and innovative approaches to humanities teaching.
NEH’s Division of Education Programs also offers professional development opportunities for faculty and supports projects at community colleges, Historically Black colleges and universities, tribal colleges, and Hispanic-serving institutions to enhance humanities content.
