Summary: Supports research on mechanisms of chemical threat agent toxicity in eyes and lungs to identify molecular/genetic targets for acute injury mitigation; clinical trials are not allowed.

Key Information: Projects must focus on acute effects of DHS Chemicals of Concern (CoCs) in pulmonary/ocular systems; efficacy studies and chronic exposure studies are not responsive.
