Description
The National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES) within the U.S. National Science Foundation invites proposals for research, methodological development, and training projects that advance the understanding and measurement of the science and technology (S&T) enterprise. This program supports analytic and methodological research to improve the quality, relevance, and communication of S&T indicators and statistics. Projects may include research using NCSES or other large-scale datasets, development of new indicators, innovative survey methodologies, exploration of alternative data sources, and dissemination or visualization of S&T data. Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grants (DDRIGs) are also supported to facilitate dissertation research aligned with the program's goals.
