Description
The NSF Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) funds foundational research and education projects in all areas of computing, communications, information science and engineering, and advanced cyberinfrastructure. This opportunity encompasses core programs in algorithmic foundations, communications, emerging technologies, hardware/software, computer systems, networking, human-centered computing, informatics, robust intelligence, and cyberinfrastructure.
Researchers can submit proposals in three project classes—Small, Medium, and OAC Core—each with distinct budget and duration limits and eligibility requirements. The program strongly encourages participation from diverse institutions and individuals, including those in EPSCoR jurisdictions, minority-serving institutions, and community colleges.
