Description
This grant opportunity is part of the Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects (DRRP) program, administered by the Administration for Community Living (ACL). It focuses on research related to traumatic brain injury (TBI) as a lifelong condition. The primary goal is to improve the long-term health outcomes of individuals living with TBI by developing, testing, and validating interventions, services, and supports that address their complex and varied lifelong healthcare needs.
Applicants are expected to conduct research at the intervention-development stage and must include at least one study at the intervention efficacy stage. The research should generate new knowledge or develop methods, procedures, and rehabilitation technologies that advance outcomes for people with disabilities, especially those with the greatest support needs.
The project period for this grant is 60 months (5 years), divided into five 12-month budget periods.
