--- ## Description This grant opportunity aims to enhance community responses to domestic violence incidents where children are present by fostering collaboration between child welfare agencies, domestic violence agencies, and other partners at the state, local, or tribal level. The funded projects must actively involve individuals with lived experience of the child welfare system and/or domestic violence in key decision-making processes such as planning, implementation, and evaluation of services. The overarching goal is to ensure families affected by domestic violence, or at risk of child welfare involvement, receive timely access to trauma-informed, individualized services that improve their safety and well-being. This initiative focuses on building capacity to strengthen partnerships and improve service coordination to better support these vulnerable families. ## Due Dates - Application deadline: March 21, 2025 ## Funding Amount - Typical award size: Approximately $250,000 per grant ## Eligibility Eligible applicants include a broad range of organizations and entities such as: - State, county, city, or township governments - Special district governments - Independent school districts - Public and state-controlled institutions of higher education - Federally recognized Native American tribal governments - Native American tribal organizations (non-federally recognized) - Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities - Nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status (excluding institutions of higher education) - Private institutions of higher education - For-profit organizations other than small businesses - Small businesses - Other eligible entities as defined by the funder ## Application Process Applicants should refer to the official Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for detailed application instructions.
