Description
This opportunity funds projects that promote healthy marriage and relationship education for adults (age 18 and older), aiming to strengthen families and improve economic stability. Supported activities include curriculum-based skills development, marriage and relationship education, premarital education, marriage enhancement, divorce reduction, marriage mentoring, targeted public advertising campaigns, and efforts to reduce disincentives to marriage. Projects must deliver at least 12 hours of evidence-informed, skills-based workshops and meet annual participation targets.
Applicants can propose projects of varying scope—large, small, or emerging (for organizations new to this work)—with corresponding minimum service requirements and funding levels. The grant emphasizes program fidelity, community partnerships, and strong data collection for continuous quality improvement. Participation in the program is voluntary for all clients.
