Description
This opportunity funds community-based coalitions to prevent and reduce substance use among youth (18 years and younger) through collaboration among diverse sectors, evidence-based strategies, and sustainable community-level change. The grant is administered by the CDC's National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) in partnership with the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP). The program aims to (1) strengthen collaboration among communities and agencies and (2) reduce youth substance use and, over time, adult substance use by addressing risk and protective factors.
