Description
This opportunity, offered by the Administration for Community Living (ACL), aims to strengthen and expand state-level systems that deliver high-quality, accessible respite care to family caregivers of children and adults across all age groups, disabilities, and chronic conditions. The program supports coordinated, community-based respite services, focusing on system enhancement, direct service provision, workforce training, identification and reduction of service gaps, and outreach to underserved populations. Funded projects are expected to align with the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers and to collaborate with statewide respite coalitions and Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRC)/No Wrong Door Systems.
