Description
The FR-CARA program aims to address the opioid crisis by equipping first responders and communities with the skills and resources to administer and distribute opioid overdose reversal medications. Funded projects are expected to provide overdose prevention training, education, and community engagement, and to implement evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches. Activities should strengthen local capacity to prevent opioid overdose deaths and support recovery efforts.
