Description
This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) from NOAA is designed to encourage proposals for research, education, outreach, and innovative projects that align with NOAA’s strategic mission but are not addressed through its standard competitive programs. The BAA is open to a wide range of project types, including interdisciplinary research, educational resource development, and outreach initiatives, particularly those that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) in ocean science and STEM education.
NOAA Ocean Exploration is particularly interested in projects that:
- Advance scientific discovery and technological innovation in ocean exploration.

- Increase participation and accessibility for diverse and underserved audiences.
- Foster partnerships across public, private, and academic sectors.
