Description
This fellowship program, jointly offered by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the National Science Foundation (NSF), supports individual scholars in the documentation and analysis of endangered or moribund human languages. The goal is to advance scientific and scholarly knowledge about languages at risk of extinction, which are vital for understanding human behavior, cognition, and cultural heritage.
