Description
This opportunity supports research projects that use integrative, systems-level approaches to address defined gaps in metastasis research, with the goal of advancing the understanding of metastasis as a whole-body, systems-level problem. Funded projects will integrate into the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Metastasis Research Network (MetNet) and are expected to complement ongoing research across the network. Projects should focus on central MetNet themes such as dormancy, early dissemination, microenvironment crosstalk, or mechanisms of metastatic response to therapies. Participation in MetNet activities, including Steering Committee membership and collaborative network initiatives, is required.
