    Description

    This fellowship supports highly promising postdoctoral researchers in neuroscience, providing mentored training to foster their development into independent investigators. The program emphasizes early, goal-directed planning, discourages preliminary data, and encourages bold, innovative research projects. Strong quantitative training and rigorous experimental design are required. The fellowship is limited to the first 3 years of postdoctoral activity in a given laboratory or research environment, promoting timely completion of mentored training and maximizing exposure to new research settings and mentorship. Clinical trials led by the fellow are not permitted, but research experience within a sponsor-led clinical trial is allowed.
