Description
This NIH opportunity funds small research projects that utilize the Gabriella Miller Kids First Pediatric Research Program (Kids First) data resources. The program aims to accelerate research into the genetics of childhood cancers and structural birth defects by supporting analyses of curated genomic and phenotypic datasets generated by Kids First, as well as the development of new analytical tools, methods, or algorithms relevant to these data.
Projects may focus on:
- Analyses of Kids First X01 datasets (genomic, phenotypic, and/or clinical data)
- Co-analysis of Kids First data with other publicly available genomic datasets
- Development of approaches, tools, or algorithms for analyzing relevant data
The overarching goal is to catalyze discoveries that improve diagnostics and therapies for pediatric cancers and birth defects.
