Description
This opportunity supports a national nonprofit organization to serve as the National Community Anti-Drug Coalition Institute (NCI). The NCI will act as the training and technical assistance partner for both Drug-Free Communities (DFC) and non-DFC funded community coalitions throughout the United States and territories. The primary goals are to increase the effectiveness of community coalitions in substance use prevention and to strengthen technical assistance and training for these coalitions. The program targets adolescence as a critical period for substance use prevention, aiming to delay or prevent the initiation of substance use and reduce long-term adverse outcomes. Applicants are expected to propose local, regional, and national implementation strategies and are encouraged to partner with external organizations to maximize program impact.
