This funding opportunity from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Electricity, managed by the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), aims to advance human-centric analytics for resilient and modernized power systems. The initiative seeks to address the growing uncertainties and complexities in power grid operations brought on by increased data, distributed energy resources, electrification, and emerging cyber risks. The program supports research, development, and demonstration (RD&D) projects that develop innovative methods for quantifying, communicating, and managing risk and uncertainty in power system operations, with a strong emphasis on actionable insights for human operators and decision-makers. Projects should address at least one of the following areas: risk analytics, cybersecurity and grid communications, or human factors in grid operations.
