Description
This program from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) funds the establishment of new collaborative research centers in the humanities dedicated to exploring the societal, cultural, and ethical implications of artificial intelligence (AI) in the United States. Centers must foster sustained collaboration among multiple scholars and engage in at least two related scholarly activities, such as research, convenings, curriculum development, or public outreach. The goal is to advance a holistic understanding of AI’s impact through interdisciplinary humanities scholarship, public programming, and the development of sustainable research infrastructure.
