Key Information: Only currently funded NCI U01 projects eligible; technology must be IMAT-supported and not developed by the parent U01 PI.

    Description

This funding opportunity supports revision applications to existing, active NCI U01 research projects. The aim is to accelerate or expand the parent project by incorporating a new technical approach or device that was developed through the NCI Innovative Molecular Analysis Technologies (IMAT) program. The program incentivizes independent validation and broader adoption of emerging technologies for cancer research, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and advancing innovative tools and methods in the field.

Proposals must specifically address how the integration of the IMAT-supported technology will enhance the ongoing research and provide value to the broader cancer research community. Projects that seek to incorporate commercially available or non-IMAT-developed technologies, or those led by the technology's original developer, are not eligible.
