Description
This funding opportunity from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) aims to support new and innovative strategies that prevent and reduce crime, enhance community safety, and improve outcomes within the criminal justice system. The program encourages collaboration with practitioners and stakeholders in the field to identify, define, and respond to emerging or persistent crime problems and justice system challenges.
BJA seeks proposals that introduce novel approaches, address gaps in current responses, translate or build research knowledge, or build capacity within the justice system. The goal is to foster creative solutions that strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of criminal justice efforts at state, local, tribal, and community levels.
