This grant opportunity provides funding for federally recognized tribes and tribal organizations to develop, improve, and implement emergency planning and training activities related to hazardous materials (HAZMAT) transportation incidents. The program aims to enhance the capacity of tribal emergency responders and planners to safely and efficiently manage HAZMAT incidents, protect the public and environment, and comply with federal requirements under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act (EPCRA).
