Funding Amounts: Up to $8 million total; max $500,000 per award; up to 40 awards; project duration up to 3 years (non-federal applicants)

Key Information: Cost share of at least 10% required (except federal agencies); applications must target no more than four countries and be submitted via the UES system.
Description
The Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture is offering funding to U.S. entities through the Emerging Markets Program (EMP). The program aims to develop, maintain, or expand markets for U.S. agricultural exports and foster cooperation and information exchange between U.S. agricultural institutions/agribusinesses and counterparts in emerging markets. Eligible projects may include market assessments, technical training, and knowledge transfer activities that enhance food and rural business systems in target countries.
