The Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture invites proposals for projects that remove, resolve, or mitigate existing or potential sanitary, phytosanitary, or technical barriers to the export of U.S. specialty crops. This program, known as Technical Assistance for Specialty Crops (TASC), aims to enhance the global competitiveness of U.S. specialty crops by addressing trade barriers that threaten or prohibit their export.
Projects must target generic (non-brand-specific) activities and demonstrate clear industry-wide benefits. Eligible activities include research, technical assistance, and information exchange that directly address export barriers.
