Description
This opportunity supports Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM) at the Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) on the island of Hawaii. The project is part of the U.S. Army’s Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Sustainable Range Program, aiming to maintain and restore military training lands in an environmentally responsible manner. The recipient will implement soil, water, and vegetation protection and repair; erosion control; sensitive area protection; and habitat management to ensure the sustainability and readiness of Army training areas. Work will involve heavy equipment operation, data collection and GIS analysis, and reporting, with close coordination with Army representatives.
