The U.S. Embassy in Ljubljana offers small grants to support public diplomacy projects that advance U.S. government priorities and foster stronger people-to-people ties between the United States and Slovenia. Projects should promote bilateral cooperation and mutual understanding in areas such as security, economic development, science and technology, cultural exchange, democracy, education, and shared values.
Proposals must clearly articulate how the project will make American and Slovenian people safer, stronger, and/or more prosperous. All projects must include a significant American component, such as an American speaker, expert, or content, which can be delivered virtually if necessary.
