Description
This opportunity, administered by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, will fund a single nonprofit organization (or consortium) to operate the District of Columbia Opportunity Scholarship Program (OSP). The OSP provides scholarships to low-income families in Washington, DC, enabling their children—especially those attending the lowest-performing public schools—to enroll in participating private elementary or secondary schools. The grantee will manage all aspects of the program, including outreach, application, selection, scholarship disbursement, and compliance monitoring.
