Our research concerns the generation, propagation, transformation, and decay of wind-generated surface gravity waves. These waves are modeled using phase-averaged spectral models at global, regional, and sub-regional scales. Projects focus on wave modeling technology, wave energy attenuation in the Arctic, coupling of wave-ocean models, air-sea interaction processes, and more. Collaboration with various experts aims to improve accuracy and develop new prediction methods.
