Description
This opportunity provides short-term, non-renewable bridge funding to Fiscal Year 2026 Crisis Care System grantees in Illinois to support the transition of Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCR) services in areas experiencing a change in service provider. The program aims to maintain continuity of behavioral health crisis care, facilitate orderly staff and program transitions, and ensure referrals and follow-up services are uninterrupted during the transition period. Emphasis is placed on equity, diversity, minimizing law enforcement involvement, and reducing systemic barriers in crisis response delivery.
