Description
The American Chemical Society’s ACS-Hach Second Career Teacher Scholarship helps chemistry professionals move into careers as high school chemistry teachers. It supports study toward a master’s degree in education or secondary chemistry or science teacher certification. Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, books, room and board, and other education-related expenses.
Recipients also receive support and mentoring throughout a three-year teaching commitment. The program is intended for career changers who are new to chemistry education, rather than established high school chemistry teachers.
