Description
This grant program is designed to enhance arts access, arts learning, and arts and cultural heritage opportunities for Minnesotans. It specifically supports nonprofit arts organizations, local governments, educational institutions, and collaborative artist groups within the LRAC nine-county region. The goal is to ensure that Minnesota arts organizations have the resources, information, personnel, and audiences they need to thrive.

Funding Amount

- Available funds: $108,377 (Fall Round), $162,565 (Spring Round) — subject to change
- Project period: Must begin after the earliest project start date for the relevant round
Eligibility
- Geographic: Applicants must be based in the LRAC nine-county region of Minnesota.
- Eligible applicants:
- Nonprofit arts organizations (501(c)(3))
- Nonprofits with arts as the primary focus
- Local government units
- Educational institutions
- Groups of two or more artists with a history of performing together under a recognized name (must secure a fiscal agent that is a registered 501(c)(3) in Minnesota)
- Ineligible: Individuals, for-profit entities, and organizations outside the LRAC region
Application Process

- First-time applicants are strongly encouraged to contact the LRAC office before starting an application.
- Applications must be submitted by the stated deadlines for each round.
- Grant review includes a presentation at the LRAC Board Meeting.
- Project activities may not begin before the earliest project start date for the round.
