--- ## Description The Ron Hites Award is presented annually by the American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS) to honor an outstanding original research paper published in the Journal of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry (JASMS) during the previous two calendar years. The award highlights excellence, innovation, and significant scientific contribution to the field of mass spectrometry. The principal author receives a monetary prize, while all co-authors are recognized with certificates of commendation.
