Description
The Klingenstein Fellowship Awards in Neuroscience provide substantial support to early-career investigators pursuing innovative research in neuroscience. The program aims to advance understanding of the mechanisms underlying neurological and behavioral disorders, with the potential to improve diagnosis and treatment. Both basic and translational research are eligible, including projects without immediate clinical application. The fellowship is designed to seed new research directions and foster a collaborative community among fellows through annual meetings and mentorship opportunities. Priority is given to promising scientists who have not yet received significant private funding, and applications from underrepresented and minoritized groups are strongly encouraged.
