Description
This fellowship is designed to advance the training and career development of pathologists with strong interests in digital pathology, artificial intelligence, and computational pathology. It provides a unique, integrated research experience in both academic and industry (AstraZeneca) settings, aiming to foster expertise in AI-driven cancer research and diagnostics. Fellows will spend one year at their academic institution and one year with the AstraZeneca team, engaging in mentored research projects that focus on developing and applying advanced computational methods—such as deep learning for biomarker discovery and multimodal modeling integrating genomics and histopathology data. The program prepares physician-scientists for independent careers at the intersection of technology and oncology.
