This award honors an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the understanding of immune mechanisms underlying human disease pathogenesis, prevention, or therapy. The recipient is selected for impactful research advancing knowledge of how the immune system influences human diseases, with a focus on mechanisms, prevention strategies, or therapeutic interventions. The award includes a $5,000 cash prize, complimentary registration, and travel support to the AAI annual meeting, where the recipient will present their work in a dedicated award lecture.
