This scholarship program is designed to support 4th-year US medical students who are members of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and wish to pursue a clinical neurology visiting student rotation at an LCME/AOA-accredited US medical school or the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The goal is to encourage clinical neurology experiences outside the student’s home institution, aiding students in making informed specialty and residency decisions. Scholars receive supplemental funding to offset expenses related to the elective rotation and are expected to provide feedback and reflections to help improve the program for future participants.
