Description
The Abba P. Schwartz Research Fellowship supports research on immigration, naturalization, or refugee policy. Projects may also draw on collections at other institutions, but must use JFK Library archival materials for at least part of the work. The fellowship is administered by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation.
The fellowship is funded by the family, friends, and colleagues of Abba Schwartz, who served as Assistant Secretary of State for Security and Consular Affairs during the Kennedy administration. It supports researchers examining these policy areas through archival evidence connected to the Library’s historical collections.
