The ACM Academic Leadership Fellows program is a two-year fellowship designed to cultivate the next generation of campus leaders among tenured humanities faculty at Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM) member institutions. Supported by the Mellon Foundation, the program provides a structured opportunity for fellows to develop strategic leadership skills through a combination of mentorship, professional development, and hands-on leadership experiences. Fellows participate in summer institutes, conferences, and targeted workshops, and are given opportunities to lead change initiatives and contribute to institutional priorities. The program leverages the ACM consortium to offer resources and collaborative experiences beyond what individual campuses can provide, fostering transformative leadership in higher education.
