This opportunity, funded by the U.S. Mission to Kazakhstan, aims to implement two interconnected initiatives: (1) Access Alumni Outreach and Engagement, and (2) the English Access Scholarship Program for the 2026–2028 cycle. The program targets up to 300 alumni of the Access Program (ages 16–30, cohorts 2016–2026) across five cities in South Kazakhstan, and 32 new Access students (ages 13–15) from Shymkent or Taraz. The alumni component focuses on sustained engagement through English practice, U.S. culture, and professional networking, while the scholarship program delivers 360 hours of intensive English instruction and U.S. cultural exposure to new participants. Both tracks are designed to foster English-proficient, U.S.-engaged youth leaders and strengthen long-term people-to-people ties in the region.
