    Description

    This program, administered by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service, funds projects that strengthen and expand the domestic maple syrup industry. Supported activities include research and education on maple syrup production, promotion of natural resource sustainability, market development for maple syrup and maple-sap products, and initiatives encouraging private landowners to initiate or expand maple-sugaring operations or provide public access for such activities. Projects must demonstrate regional or national impact and aim to increase maple-sugaring activities or maple syrup production.
