Nominee must be listed as inventor on a patent granted within the 17 years prior to Jan 1, 2026.

--- ## Description The award honors a single inventor whose research in chemistry or chemical engineering has been successfully applied to benefit society, contributing to material prosperity and happiness. The invention must have received a patent and demonstrated tangible impact.
