--- ## Description The ACS Award in Pure Chemistry is designed to honor and support early career researchers in North America who have conducted fundamental research of exceptional merit in pure chemistry. Established in 1931, the award aims to recognize individuals at the threshold of their careers, placing special emphasis on independence of thought and originality.
