Description
This grant opportunity from the American Cancer Society (ACS) aims to address the significant racial disparity in prostate cancer mortality, particularly among Black men, by supporting local oncology practices and hospitals in expanding clinical trial enrollment. The program is part of the ACS IMPACT (Improving Mortality from Prostate Cancer Together) initiative. Awardees will receive funding and access to tools like the Trial Library platform for identifying clinical trials and pre-screening patients, as well as navigation services to support patient participation. Additionally, funded sites will be connected with the Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials Consortium (PCCTC) to assess and enhance their trial infrastructure and training, with opportunities to participate in new trials and build sustainable, community-focused clinical research capacity.
