The ACVIM Cardiology Resident Research Grant Competition is an annual program designed to support veterinary cardiology residents in performing meaningful clinical research during their training. The initiative, funded by the ACVIM Pacemaker Fund, aims to foster grant writing skills, encourage presentation and publication of research results, and strengthen the veterinary cardiology research community. Projects must be mentored, completed before the end of the residency, and are expected to result in presentation at the ACVIM Forum and/or publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
