Description
This opportunity funds National Resource Centers focused on enhancing knowledge and improving the delivery of services to older adults in American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian communities. The centers will have a national scope and are expected to address key issues such as health, long-term care (including in-home care), elder abuse, and other challenges facing these populations. Funded centers will:
- Gather and analyze information relevant to older adults in the target communities.
- Conduct and disseminate research.
- Provide technical assistance and training to organizations serving these populations.
- Develop and share best practices to improve outcomes for elders.
Applicants must outline anticipated program outcomes, methods for measuring these outcomes, and how overall program success will be determined.
