Description
This opportunity, offered by the Administration for Community Living (ACL), will fund a single cooperative agreement to establish and operate the Lifespan Respite National Technical Assistance and Resource Center. The Center’s mission is to:
- Support the creation of sustainable, integrated, and high-quality respite care programs for individuals of all ages.
- Promote frameworks to measure program performance and outcomes.
- Manage and stimulate research in respite and family caregiver support through data collection, synthesis, and dissemination.
The Center will provide technical assistance to Lifespan Respite grantees and partners, ensuring national access to high-quality respite services and information for family caregivers. Applicants are expected to demonstrate alignment with the 2022 National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers, using it as a guide for technical assistance and resource provision.
