Description
This initiative funds the delivery of intensive, customized technical assistance (TA) to newly funded and existing adult treatment court grantees, as well as mentor courts. The program aims to ensure that adult treatment court (ATC) grantees effectively integrate substance use disorder treatment, mandatory drug testing, incentives and sanctions, and transitional services within a judicially supervised criminal court setting. The ultimate goals are to reduce recidivism and overdose fatalities, increase access to treatment and recovery supports, and improve public safety through long-term recovery.
