    Description

    This opportunity, offered by the U.S. Mission to Bahrain’s Public Affairs Section, funds projects that advance high-tech research and innovation through the Comprehensive Strategic Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) between the United States, Bahrain, and the United Kingdom. The program aims to foster resilient, secure, and market-driven technology partnerships that reinforce national security, expand economic opportunity, and promote trusted trilateral cooperation. Projects should involve collaboration among academic institutions and private sector partners, focusing on economic and/or advanced technology cooperation relevant to the three C-SIPA countries.

    Priority is given to proposals that:

    • Include direct collaboration with U.S. private sector partners.
    • Engage all three C-SIPA countries (U.S., Bahrain, UK).
    • Deliver measurable, tangible outcomes such as joint publications, prototypes, or formalized collaborations (e.g., MOUs).

    Targeted topics include supply chain resilience, emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, regional economic integration, secure network infrastructure, critical minerals, commercial space technology, civil nuclear energy, and ICT infrastructure.
