Description
This award honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the field of pedology—the study of soils in their natural environment. It specifically recognizes advances in soil formation, classification, mapping, or the development of new techniques, discoveries of mechanisms, or novel applications addressing longstanding problems in soil science. The recipient is expected to present their work at the Advancing Pedology Colloquium during the ASA-CSSA-SSSA International Annual Meeting.
